21/04/2016- project Diary

today I decided I needed to plan my project schedule in more detail. I felt like I kept going off task and didn’t have proper motivation. I decided to make a more in depth schedule that I could keep to, to keep me motivated and on task. It also put into perspective how much time have and what I need to do.

This is my finished schedule. Each day I wrote something to do so I know that I am on time with all my tasks and what I’ve got left to do. I left my film week (23rd-29th May) blank because I am unsure of locations and shots I need to do yet. As you can see I have a lot to do, so a schedule was a good idea.

In the afternoon, I carried on with my secondary research for real life stories. I planned to finish this research on the Monday and then start political film research. Today I also took the steady cam out and decided to film some practice shots. I’m not very good at steady cam but I think it would be a pm important feature in my film. It’s important for me to get practice in when I can.

This is awesome, Izzy. I know World Skills crashlanded in the middle of this, but all schedules—absolutely all of them—change.
